Firefox hates me

    This is a REALLY simple problem, yet vastly annoying. When i made a new tab, it automatically put the word typer thing there. i hit cntrl+t www.whatever.com without any clicking. Now i have to hit cntrl+t, click with the mouse, and then type. Since i am now thoroughly accustomed to doing this without the mouse, using the mouse is very tedious.

    any ideas on why thats happening/how i can fix it? any help would be much appreciated.

    Try control + L (lower case)
