Still looking forward (besides an extension) to thunderbird incorporating sunbird (a nice calendar program). Then this will be a start to competing with Outlook. Though, for an enterprise network, thunderbird has a ways to go.

Some good stuff coming out for 2.0 and 3.0 of firefox.
