FireFox n Major Geeks Menu Problem

Hi there...

Ok.... on the menu bar with User CP and FAQ where the selection is Search and Quick Links, the lil white arrow which denotes a pull down menu seems to have gone. Updated Firefox yesterday but didnt notice any difference then.

The pull down menus do not appear if i click where the arrow should be so i guess FF is not recognising the script.

Only other thing i have done differently recently is to run CCleaner, and am wondering if that has killed something it shouldnt have done?

Any Ideas?

 

I just updated FireFox to version 1.0.3 -- is that what you mean by "updated"?

FYI: I HAVE the 2 white arrows and CAN get the drop down menus up there on the User CP...Search, Quick Links section.

 

They are back now Having a couple of probs but sorting them. Seems the pc was under attack by someone who could access my msn messenger and message contacts in my name. I can only guess that this is linked in some way. I have (hopefully) blocked the infuiltration n the arrows are back.

Hmm, I was having trouble with another drop down when I tried to move a thread just now in FF. Worked fine in IE. Maybe its a JavaScript bug or somthing.

I have the white arrows, they just don't do anything. Hmm..

 

The jigsaw piece doesn't represent a Firefox update, it's the plugin finder symbol. You could type aboutlugins into the address bar and see what you've got, but unless you know exactly what you had before you wouldn't be able to tell what's changed.Still, wouldn't hurt to have a look!

 

lol... "update" in this sense was kinda an ambiguous statement meaning that something had been added. I never saw it n was just told using the word update. Thought no more of it. Still, least from it i now know how to have a shufti at what plugins are on this machine. N i know to be more carefull with my terminological exactitudes lol

Least my arrows are back where they should be. Sounds vaguely painfull! hehe
