Firefox Spellcheck

When i was using Windows XP my spellcheck worked as i was typing but now with Vista if i think i have misspelled a word i have to physically click on spell check.

is this something in Vista or can i change it somehow?

Hi Bill

Not seeing that issue with the FF I have installed on Vista, so would check the settings in FF, Tools > Options > Advanced tab and make sure under Browsing that "check my spelling as I type" is ticked.

the box is checked so in theory it should be working (but it don't)

Try unticking applying then re-ticking again, and check you actually have a dictonary enabled, just click any user typable field like the reply box here, and click languages > add Dictonary if one is missing.
