    Hello MG'ers,

Have a look at the linked screen shots and let me know your feedback on these. I am sure I can get rid of this na dam not really looking for assistance. I just wanted to share. When I uninstall the Google toolbar, this does not happen. So far, this only seems to happen when I navigate to an invalid subdomain of bondwaresite.com.

Feedback on what! What malware problems are you having?

If you are not looking for any assistance, what it the purpose of posting. This is a malware removal forum and that is what we working here.

So if you suspect Google Toolbar, what's the problem and why post here as Google Toolbar is not malware. If you have questions/issues about why Google Toolbar may be cause the dotted lines, then post in the Software Forum, but don't post and say you don't need any help since your post would then be ignored since there is no reason to respond to it.

I've been here often for many things and always been treated with respect. First time for everything, so they say.

The malware issue being experienced is demonstrated well in the images. However, if it is not obvious, the 404 screen that is typically displayed by the Google add-ons has been hijacked somehow. The purpose of posting it here was to find out if anyone had experienced this before and had any insight, history or feedback of this issue AND to share it with those who might be curious about something we consider 'freaky'. No one here suspects the Google Toolbar. That was noted as an observation only. We feel like the Google add-ons were hacked, but they never told me the final diagnosis. In whichever case, our IT staff cleared it up by uninstalling all software involved, performing some IT magic of some kind and then reinstalling all the software.

Next time I come by, I'll make sure that it is not out of friendly curiosity. That seems to have stirred a highly disrespectful response.

I'm sorry if you took what I said the wrong way, but this is no obvious malware in what you posted. And without logs from our cleaning procedure, that would be a valid assertion. In addition you stated you did not require any help and you stated that the problem went away when Google Toolbar was removed. This would lead to the assertion that a setting in Google Toolbar lead is changing what was being posted for the 404 error. The additional information you supplied in your last message still does not directly indicate malware nor the exact problem. It just implires that something related to possible "Google addons" was the problem and I'm not sure if you meant Google addons or FireFox addons. And that still does not mean the Add-on was malware.

The only people who can respond to threads here are Malware Fighters and this is not something we have seen or consider malware which is also a reason for my statement of what problem are you having..
