Just installed Firefox browser. My picture no longer fills the whole screen. There is an open, blank, space at the bottom about 2 inches. How can I restore this to a full screen picture? Thanks

You talking about your desktop picture?

If so, just have a check that your desktop is set to stretch.
Right click on your desktop > properties > desktop tab > then on the right hand side drop down box select stretch.

    (Are you hiding your taskbar?)

If its not that give us a shout, i'm sure its a quick fix.

The blank space is at the bottom of the browser window, or black, blank space at the bottom of your monitor? If the latter is the case, you need to simply do the auto-adjust function on your monitor...

This blank spot is all the way at the bottom of my screen It is not on the sides or at the top. When I first turn on the computer my display is ok. I use incredi-mail; it is ok. The screen I am on right now has the blank space. My home page and Yahoo home page has the blank space. I visited various web pages and all of them that I visited has the blank space with the exception of my email application. Thanks for your continued assistance. :yum I am using a Dell 8600 lap top.

Not sure if this is what ye are wanting......

Does the lower left hand side say done, perhaps?

If, so, click VIEW (within FF), then status bar.

Thanks a lot green knight. I found that the google tool bar was at fault and now i have another problem. I went through my extensions and eliminated everything but Google tool bar. At first I disabled it. My screen was perfect without a blank spot. I decided to remove it. Now I have a big square in the middle of my screen thanking me for installing the google tool bar. This square makes everything inoperable. Nothing works when I click it including this stupid thank you. Google is fast becoming a swear word to me. The only way I can get out of it is to reboot. I am on Internet Explorer right now. As soon as I go on Firefox this screen reappears. Did a search and deleted everything with the word google in it. That didn't help. Reinstalled Firefox. That didn't help> :cry Any suggestions. Thanks

Did you use CCleaner (especially to remove registry issues) to help you remove all instances of the Google Toolbar and Firefox when you did the unistall/removal for both? confused

I have Registry Cure; isn't this about the same thing as cc cleaner. It doesn't help. I've also tried system restore but this Google is simply not letting go. Shall we throw up the white flag. Thanks

    LOL

Well, I'm not familiar with Registry Cure.
I would still use CCleaner to remove any Issues (just click the Issues tab and follow instructions).

Also this helps in cleaning up, but is no longer supported. (I still use it, though.)

Did you check under your Application Data and Local Settings folders to remove everything? You have to be able to see all hidden files/folders for this.

You really have to make sure all instances are removed before you can reinstall it.
