    I was about to say you can use multiple portable versions of firefox but not the installiation ones as they will overwrite the previous firefox you have installed.

    How do I use multiple portable versions of firefox? I mean what is the command that do that.

    Portable versions DO NOT need to be on a USB drive. I have folders with portable versions of browsers sitting on my desktop. I open the folder, click the exe and browse with everything saved to that desktop folder.

    When I use portable firefox with the installed version of firefox I loses the installed addons

    Whatever you want in the portable version, you need to install. Do not assume that the portable version has access to the installed version because it does not.
    All the bookmarks, addons, themes, plugins will be contained within the portable version and are not shared with anything on the installed version.
    You haven't lost anything - you just haven't fired up the portable version and installed what you want.

    I installed firefox 17.0 and portable firefox 27.0 on different partitions but I lost settings of firefox 17.0 is there any solution for this problem.

    Here are the shortcuts command of both firefox:
    First is
    "D:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
    Second is
    "E:\FirefoxPortable 27\App\Firefox\firefox.exe" -P Firefox27 -no-remote
    and I lost settings
