I downloaded firefox 0.9.3 from majorgeeks No2 download site. The setup identifies it as version 0.9.2. About calls it 0.9.3.
Mozilla home pages list the latest update as v 0.9.2.
Anyone know what is going on here?

Well I dont' know but maybe you didn't FULLY unistall the original version. Just a variable to consider.

 

The genuine v 0.9.3 is available from Mozilla today - anyone installing the version earlier might wish to check to see if they have a doctored copy. The genuine version identifies itself as v 0.9.3 in setup.
Uninstall of previous versions is not necessary for within the 0.9x series.

 

Well, yesterday it showed up as 0.9.3 too on mozilla.org, so...thats when i replied to this thread.

 

what are some of the changes in the .93 version?

 

You should be able to access that information on the firefox's page on features or products. Somewhere around those lines.
