Firewall Wanted To Rival Ms Firewall

Hi All,
My Belmarc Security score is pretty low - 0.63 out of 10.
Can anybody recommend me a freeware firewall that can bring this security level up to 5 out of 10 that automates this cos I ain't that techie - I am not into codes or command prompts - or advise me of what to do please?

I am using Windows Firewall of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

I had Comodo a few times but somehow it was letting me down when I felt my pc had been hacked into and/ or I noticed strange behaviour on my pc.
If Comodo is a recommendation I will have to try it again.
I even had it on my android devices - tablets and mobile phones.
No more - same thing.

Comodo has held the number one spot for years. But there are several very good firewalls.

 

You might try Privatefirewall from MG here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/privatefirewall.html
It works well for me on Win7 for a few years and did so on XP before. Be aware WIN10 users sometimes have a little work to do, getting it to run

PF has always reviewed very well, but it stopped getting any support or development over two and a half years ago.

 

Sorry I didn't check the wilders link better. It is a threadlink to their other firewalls forum http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forums/other-firewalls.31/ for the date Aug 24, 2015 "Private Firewall now working with Windows 10" (today on the third page)
Although it can still be downloaded from the author's site, which is privacyware.com, it is not listed as on their products page. So, they aren't
pushing it, albeit still available.
