First Timer- RogueKiller download ?

    A IT guy recommended your site to me, I like what I see, this site looks like it is going to be very helpful.
    I just tried to download Roguekiller from this site, and got a malicious web site notification from my norton 360 AV. Anybody had this problem before?

    It's a false positive from Norton. Disable it and try again. And welcome to MG's!! ;)

    Disable Norton sounds easy enough, but I can't figure it out! Tried intrusion prevention-off, didn't work. smart firewall- off, didn't work. suggestion please, Thx

    Hi and welcome.

    You should be able to right click on the Norton icon on your bottom right hand corner tray and select 'Disable Auto Protect'.


    Also, if you are ever trying to download a program and want to see if your Norton is coming up with a false positive, you can use this link and enter the file to see if its flagged by any other antivirus softwares: http://www.virustotal.com/index.html
