Our fish are crap unless you live in a mountainous region with fresh flowing streams all still water fish taste like dirt unless you let them swim in clean bucket of water for a week:)

And then they just taste of chlorine ;)

I still can't get over how much the water tastes of water in Oregon, and not chemicals. Everyone here says it tastes crap, but they obviously haven't tasted UK tap water...or at least in Somerset.

wow when i was in London for a week i could not get over how incredibly bad the water was lol. Everyone i went with just bought bottled water. Italian water, at least in the city, tastes like crap too. The water in our hotel was orange  The water where I am is good tho :) Fish are clean as well, no funky tastes. It was weird tho when we had that huge die-off of salmon in the Klamath river about a year or so ago.

I hear ya,UK tap water is disgusting it truely is undrinkable IMO,if you fill a glass half full leave it for half an hour it smells like a clorine swimming pool and tastes awfull,I'm not sure if the chemicals come to the surface in that time but its much more drinkable straight from the tap, even worse of you fill a metal zinc coated bucket with the stuff some kind of reaction goes on which smells really bad, when you take a shower you also get whisps of ammonia

Forget about making hot drinks with it you have to buy bottled water, there so much lime in our water also any hot mechanical devices like hot water pumps even the kettle need regular service and replacement

We're supposed to be one of the most civilised countries in the world drinkable tap water is hardly asking for the earth, many people I know are considering not paying thier water rates its become so bad

I love to Bass and Crappie fish!! I make time to fish so needless to say I go a lot. I have 3 mounts so far this year.

Here is a few of mine this year and it's just picking up due to cooler weather. I believe in Oct-Dec they will be biting better.

There is a limit for Crappie in Alabama, it's 30 per person per day and they have to be 9 inches or longer, but noone cares around here what you catch or how many long as you have a fish fry, LOL!!

Black Bass you can only possess 10 per person per day legally. ;)

Awesome! My son-in-law runs his own taxidermy business if any of your buddies need a head or shoulder mount doing on their trophies this season :) He uses both rifle and bow to hunt. How much did it weigh in at? Looks like a 12 point???

Hoping to get my elk out on the coastal range this year.

I havn't yet but I will go Elk hunting!! I also want a Moose head. Hopefully I can get enough time off to go.

By the way, those are some NICE racks. I would like a shoulder mount of one like that on my wall over the fireplace.

Caught a ton of trout back at the end of August. Went out in the motor boat today trawling for chinook salmon, but not even a nibble! (photo below)

Yesterday I started to rebuild my old Kia ready to sell. The heater core blew a hole and poured dirty coolant water into the passenger footwell (See car thread). It has taken me 17 hours to replace that simple component as you have to strip the whole dash down!! Grrrr...
