fixxable problem????

in any game mostly.. but mostly postal 2 aw. when i kill a lot of stuff the the stuff says on the ground and when a lot of it is everywhere it laggs like crazy. my computer does it on postal 2 very fast i only have to kill 5 things. is there somthing i can do???

 

Personally dont know the game but have you gone to your options > video and adjusted these. Maybe turn gore off, blood, shadows, etc. Otherwise have you updated your video card drivers recently?

athlon 64 3200+ 2.0
ati radeon x850 xt saphfire version
2 gigs of corsair xms version
550 powere uplly antec

my computer shouldn't have these problems at all

would upgrading bios do anything??

 

First thing I would do is go to the games website and search for any recent updates or patches for the version you have.

Second I think you should focus on your video card drivers and source them.

Third make sure you have all your recent Windows updates (this should really be FIRST!!!!!).

BIOS (Basic Input Output System) if this needs updating it can be complex and you would definately want to have sys backup beforehand (things can go wrong from what I have read). I dont know to much about this one but I do believe you should be catious and do this as a last consideration.

Have you got the VIA and AGP drivers for your motherboard installed? There should be a disk that came with your mobo.
I forgot to install mine after a format, and I got a 50% drop in performance on my 9800 Pro.

 

my mobo came with my emachine i just updated my emachine a lot

 

Have you gone to the games site???? Patches can fix "bugs" which you seem to be experiencing. There are some new ATI catalyst drivers v6.1.
