Flash gurus?

Need an animated gif converted to Flash, anyone know of a program for it, or is anyone here capable? Were looking to cut down the size and flash should work. Thanks in advance.

Had a link for this come through one of my groups but I don't know how good it is or if there are limitations to the trial...haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

Tried 2 with that name, one made the gif bigger, other only made it a tad smaller. Were looking to shrink the animated gif to swf to make it smaller for the new game design, so no luck so far. Hoping to find someone experienced with Fireworks or similar.

What exactly do you want doing?

You want a GIF to be transferred to SWF?

I can do that. Just post the gif here and I'll do it when I get home.

Depending on what the gif is like, it might help to translate it to vector format rather than just using the bitmap frames. That'll decrease the filesize by a LOT - but you would have to use Flash MX (or any other version) to make it. All you'd be doing is putting a series of bitmap frames together into one file, and compressing the frames slightly differently.

If it's not too complicated, I could do it for you. Or anyone else who does vectors in Flash. You might even be able to do it with SWiSH.
