flashplayer will not install

I have tried resetting active x, allowed pop-ups on the site, all to no avail.

I have tried through both macromedia and microsoft sites, again to no avail. I have shockwave but cannot get flashplayer.

Have you tried Firefox as your browser. I like it better than IE. It isn't as prone to the problems of IE.

I'm not an IE guru. Not really sure what would be keeping flash from installing.

Try downloading and installing the full standalone install version http://www.macromedia.com/go/full_flashplayer_win_ie

also if you have any old versions of Flash uninstall them first, plus if version 7 fails you may have reminents of failed install use the uninstaller to remove http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157
