   I have a Toshiba Tectra laptop and my mouse intermittantly starts floating across the monitor. I also use a wireless mouse with the same result. Could use some help here

   Turn off the touchpad. When your wrist touches the touchpad, the mouse cursor moves.
   On one netbook, Fn + F7 turns off the touchpad. Look at the pictures on the function keys at the top and you might be able to determine which one turns off the touchpad.
