floppy drive worries by itself

When I start up my computer, just before I login and out of Windows XP, my 3.5 drive worries, whether a disk is in there or not. I've had previous experiences with an admin pass, that I did not set, locking me out. The following programs were unable to detect any infection: Norton 2004, Windows Defender, Spybot S&D, Adaware, AVG Anti-spyware.
The drive also worried during scans.

Note, I did run HJT before reading the instructions. Vundo could have hidden itself (if it is Vundo).

I suspect that you have the floppy drive set in the bios to be a first or second drive to run at startup ...and you probably also have it set to be checked when you do a scan (rather than just the hard drive).

Look more closely. I thought someone might say that. That's why I said it happens when I log in. Let me clarify. At least two times after startup, (more if I run spy scans) the dirve worries: at the actual login screen, and upon exiting Windows.

I did make a mistake in saying that the worrying occurred upon logout. It does not. After I've started up, I can log in and out as normal, "no worries". Please, if you would, look over the attached log.

First off, this is not a HJT reading forum ...HJT is a tool, not a cure-all for malware.

Second, malware can recognize a HJT scan if you do not rename it.

Third, if you suspect malware (which I highly doubt):

Please uninstall HJT as it will be properly installed when you do the following:

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

I'm not trying to be ugly. I just keep asking until I get a reasonable explanation. The fallacy with the worrying attributed to BIOS is evidenced by the fact that this also occurs during system shutdown when processes are ending. I, too, had thought that the anti virus could be the cause. Upon adverting the scan, I found it was not.

I had read and completed the tutorials you mentioned (and others also) before posting. Do you have any recommendations where I might receive help with HJT reading.

If you have gone thru the Read and Run First instructions, then please attach the requested logs:
    SuperAnti-spyware
    ComboFix
MGLogs.zip --> this will contain the properly installed HJT log.

No, admittedly, I must have missed that read. I recently installed One Care (yes, it was from the Microsoft web site), but at this point my computer is overrun with the services.exe process. It runs the CPU anywhere from 60-80. I've gotten registry to open, but I haven't done anything there yet. Other suggestions?
