Does anyone know of any good Fluorescent light bulds that last for a significantly long time?

I have one burned out light bulb on my pool table. What I want is something that will last a very long time, and sheds good light. Going to replace both, since the other one is showing some darkness near its end.

Money no option, if it is priced < $20 per bulb. :)

They are just starting to show up in the market and pretty pricey, but have you thought about LED lights that screw into regular sockets?

I have replaced all my incandescent lights with the screw-in type flourescent bulbs and repl all tubes with the natural light ones. It's great.

Unless I miss his point, theefool is interested in replacing fluorescent tubes, not normal househild bulbs (globes in OZ speak, bulbs are things that flowers grow out of. :D ). Bazza
