folder options->view tab language chaned

    Hi guys!!! My system got affected by netwin.exe virus, my nod32 detected astry.exe but netwin.exe affected my stem and changed folder options->view tab language to Indonesian, i cleaned netwin.exe virus using avafind(a search software), but was unable to change the language, so guys plzzz help me to fix the problem.

    We need to check to see that you are truly clean ...
    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

    Now under control panel / Regional and Language / see if you can't reset it to what you want.

    i guess my computer is clean now and that language in Folder options->view tab is still the same

    Then this should be addressed in the software section ....however, if you go to the control panel and click open Regional and Lang. settings ...go to language tab and click on details...you should be able to change it.

    language is changed only in that view tab at the time of attack and it persists even the virus is cleaned

    i guess the name of the virus is ashtry.exe

    I'll repeat again .....without seeing the logs that are requested, I do not know what is going on in your system.

    If you want to pursue the language issue, do so in the software section.

    If you would like me to check your system for malware, attach the requested logs. :)
