folder still opens in a new window (kvxo virus)

    i was recently infected with the kxvo virus.. which in turn opens folders in new windows. i was able to delete the program and able to unhide the hidden files already. but this is my problem.. when i open the drives it works fine.. it opens in the same window.. but when i open the folders inside it, it opens in a different window.. is that still a virus? how can i fix it? thank you

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    You probably just have to set click Tools, Folder Options, Browse folders and select Open each folder in the same window. The close all Explore windows and open a new one to see the effect. If it does not take effect, reboot and see if it then works how you want.
