folder won't delete

I have this folder on my desktop that won't delete. "Cannot delete, cannot find specified file", is the message I get back. I tried to delete in safe mode, I used a couple programs like killbok and move on boot. This folder is driving me crazy, it just sits there on the desktop, I can't rename the folder or move files into it.

Try unlocker.But I doubt if it will work.Errors like cannot read from source and file cannot be found are difficult to delete.One way however to get it out of your desktop will be to log in as another user (administrator from safe mode is worth a try)and rename the faulty user /desktop folder(documents and setting/user name/desktop) into something else create a new folder name it desktop and put all the contents except the undeletable file into it.(Do it at your own risk)
