Folders, Files And Sub Recovery Software

What is best product to recover folders with subfolders and files mainly word docx and pdf but also has pics but, I really need the docs and pdf files as they are legal docs.
Can you also give me directions as I tried windows file recovery and got some things using this in CMD but the majority of files and the other folders are still missing.
Lets say I have a folder with 3 subfolders and each has multiple files under Documents and the folder was missing and the subfolders.

I was able to recover all my lost files and folders by using RECUVA which is freeware on Majorgeeks and it was all in the Harddiskvolumeshadowcopy dated prior to last one. I never knew my whole hard disck had a shadow copy version!!! YAYYYY!!!! Now onto a complete back up of my hard drive happening more often and confirmed!
