I just noticed that all the folders in My Documents have a subfolder called _vti_cnf. It's listed as a hidden folder.

    Here is an example:

    My Documents/Animated Gifs/_vti_cnf
    My Documents/Images/_vti_cnf

Both the Animated GIfs and the _vti_cnf have the exact same file listing, but all of the _vti_cnf files are only 1KB.

This occurs in all My Document Subfolders.

Is this normal, or has something happened to my computer.

    Just hoping it's not serious.

    Thanks

Thanks for the link, I think I understand it now. I believe that when you are using Frontpage and use the insert picture command. A folder directory will come up allowing you to search through all the folders in my documents to choose a file. I believe it uses the subfile _vti_cnf to display the files.

    Thanks for your help.
