    I'm running in safe mode as I keep getting the BSOD and running on a 64 bit Vista, fallowing all instruction from the tutorials on this site, when the step to run ComboFix begins, right when the blue bar reaches 100% the computer Blue Screens any suggestions on how to get around this?

    You should be posting this in Malware Removal really. If the Combofix step is not going smoothly then just skip it for now and continue on. We can maybe work around it later on.

    No, I think TimW is asking you: "Are you able to run any of the scans in safe mode considering normal mode is proving problematic?"

    This is a BSOD report and S.A.S reports.

    7 & 7 still BsoD

    So went through all seven steps from R&RMF then the seven steps from VMR/CP step four How to view hidden system files and folders followed link and instructions my windows vista had no option for organize, at least not in safe mode. Step seven vista set up disabling SpyBot Tea Timer in my IE Tweaks I only have a "Lock host file read-only" option. Was unable to get MGTools.exe to work because I have a 64 bit system, was unable to get PCtools to run because I cannot uninstall ESET when I tried to run ComboFit system crashed to BsoD. SAS was able to detect and remove 205 tracking cookies all other anti-malware came up empty-handed.

    System still goes directly to Bsod withe title at the to being:
    IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Equal_to

    So my question is where to take my next step?

    Thanks for your help you people have an awesome site and I am grateful for all the help. I posted this in software because of my BsoD issue though I do believe malware is part of the cause.

    MGTools works on 64bit systems. What happens when you try to run it? Make sure use right click and select Run As Administrator. Disable all AV and AS software before running it.If it runs, attach it to your malware thread reply.

    Since you are not having a malware issue, and things seem to be working for the most part in safe mode, I would suggest that you go into msconfig and stop all services. Then try booting into normal mode. If you don;t get a BSOD, add services one by one until you find which one is causing the issue.

    To be clear, go to msconfig, services, disable all?

    SAS Service;
    Base filter engine;

    DHCP client;
    DNS client;
    Windows event log;

    Workstation;
    TCP/IP netBIOS helper;
    Windows firewall;
    Network: connections; List service; Location awareness; Store I.S;
    IPsec policy agent;
    Windows Defendor;

    Everything else is stopped.

    Yes, disable all. Then see if you can boot into normal mode.
