Followed instructions and cannot boot up

I followed the instructions posted in the sticky and I get the BSOD with the following message now. My system will no longer boot up. Any suggestions? I tried the using a recovery disk and rebooting to last known configuration to no avail. Thanks

I rebooted to do the online portion and could not reboot.

Basically reboot, tap f8 before the Windows splash screen and choose last known good configuration and see if that gets you running.

Thanks. I tried dozens of things last night, including rebooting, running the recovery disk, even trying to reformat the hard drive for a new install. The system could not recognize the drive anymore, no matter what I did. I called the OEM, they are taking it back to replace the hard drive. Thank God it's under warranty. It all started with a few really bad viruses. A lesson for us all.

I'm very sorry to hear about your problem!

If you could not even format or do a new install, it really sounds like a true hardware failure of some sort. I don't see how running any of the steps in the READ ME could cause this. However if malware had some how deeply rooted itself into your system and then was subsequently removed, it could possible cause errors....even a BSOD. But it would not cause disk failure.
