Footnote Help - Word 2016

    Hi there ... I have a problem that occasionally happens when I insert a footnote into Word 2016 in that when I insert it, the text in the main body of the document either goes tiny in the top left corner or jumps over to the right. I cannot figure out why and everything I have tried doesn't fix it. Any suggestions please or advice on how to fix? Thanks.

    Have you installed all of the updates for Word 2016? There are quite a few patches for it.
