Will tell you, Frank is the living embodiment of Yosemite Sam. Cowboy poet and an onion of information, just keeps peeling off.

Greetings friends.
Miss. Judy is working toward taking a bunch of her highest scoring
little 8th grade criminals out to see the wider world for a week this
summer.
Last year she took her whole tribe of then 7th graders (93) to El Paso
and was shocked at the fear the trip generated. Most of her students had
never been as far afield as Deming! Talk about being depraved on
accounta being deprived!
Well this time the kids are a year older and she is only taking the ones
that have a 3.5 GPA and perfect behavior, and they need to help earn the
money.
The plan is to fly via Southwest to Orange County/ John Wayne Airport,
and for a week do the Southern California thing. Mission San Juan
Capistrano, Battle Ship Iowa, Queen Mary, Huntington Beach, Disneyland
and I think Hollywierd is in there someplace. These kids have never seen
an ocean and a bumper to bumper traffic jam on the 405 @75mph is it's
own kinda thrill ride....
The whole trip will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $22K +- .
Miss. Judy has already raised $5000.00 with $1000.00 of that coming in
last night from "turkey bingo". She has been selling "candy grams" for a
dollar, raffling off fire wood that sort of thing. It's nickle and dime
find raising at it's most difficult. The district as per usual will do
squat except grant permission. Even though they are always quick to say
"Eet's all abou de keeds" with a strategically shed tear.
All of us know how very difficult fund raising is on the best day.
That is why the program being run by Schwan's grocery service is so
exciting. They will donate 20% of any purchase, NATION WIDE to a
campaign specific for this project AND 40% of any e Gift Card purchase.
So, if you can mebbe buy a little sumpin' sumpin' or pass the word along
to friends and family in Omaha, Bangor, Cucamunga, Tight Wad, Stinky
Creek or Two Dot, please do!!! The program started last night and runs
to mid December.
