I am a sceptic, but wouldn't dream of flaming you. However, I would just say please do beware. There are vast numbers of proven cases where so called psychics have caused more harm than good, and wouldn't want you getting hurt in any way.

I do not try to argue against your beliefs, so much as suggest that it is important balance any belief in the spiritual, with a keen eye kept for the con artists out there.

For example, if you ever get a reading, or see something that appears to be very real, do send it in to www.jref.com and ask them their opinion before you start spending vast amounts of money and emotional energy on what might, after all be simply fakers?

I just hate to see people fall time and again for what are often no better than fairground entertainers.

I think you may agree that if you wish us sceptics to keep an open mind and agree to look for proof as well as root out fakes, then you should also keep an open mind and agree that there may be explanations other than the psychic which may account for any experiences you have had.

Just a suggestion, but the jref people have a whole load of cases to show just how so many psychics are not. Not to be patronising, but Caveat Emptor means Buyer Beware by the way. Believe if you really wish to, but please do not let your faith obscure reason. Reason is, after all, the finest quality of the human mind, is it not?
