I recently put together a PC with a 1 TB Western digital drive WD10EARSand the gigabyte motherboard GA-H55M-S2H . For some reason its setting my drive at UDMA 5 rather than its supported 6. I've tried moving the drive onto another PC and it operated at UDMA 6. The difference in performance is noticable, additionaly HD Tune's numbers are much lower on the gigabyte setup. Any ideas how I can bump up the UDMA to 6 for a better performance ?

I was wondering this too since my SSD is running in UDMA 5 and for the life of me I can't get it to run UDMA 6 even though it's supported.
