Forgot about protection + warning

    I have reinstalled Vista (64 bit) some time ago and although I installed a firewall and antivirus, I completely forgot about spyware/malware protection. When I installed this program (DVD Cover Gold) I noticed that Comodo warned me about malware. Honestly I probably haven't been using Comodo right lately and paid too much attention to safety in general.

    I have been using Ubuntu for a while and after that I think I forgot all about safety. I gave up Ubuntu since I find it very difficult to use having a 64-bit machine.

    You need to read our policies since you are guilty of doing this. All good malware removal forums will tell you the same and some will not even help you if they see anything like this installed.

    Warning about Porn, Keygens, Cracks, and other Illegal Software


    You are way way out of date with your version of SUPERAntiSpyware.
    • Please uninstall your current version (this is necessary).
    • Then download this SUPERAntiSpyware
    • Install this new version. It may tell you that you need to reboot to complete the installation. You must reboot at this time.
    • After the reboot, run SUPERAntiSpyware and immediately click the Check for Updates button to get more updates for the database.
    • Now run a new full scan of your system. And attach this new log.

    Looks like the cleaning process fixed most if not all or your problems.

    Did you add the below questionable website to your hosts file?
    O1 - Hosts: 217.20.118.142 www.amazonika.org

    You need to uninstall the below which is considered malware:

    Hi and thank you for checking out my logs.

    Porn is not illegal where I come from.

    Yes I did add the "questionable" host thingie and removed it again because I don't need it ;)

    Also I removed Stylish Profile and a lot of other stuff I don't need and hardly know/remember where come from.

    We did not say it was. We said cracks, keygens and illegal software are. This is the same anywhere in the world. ;)

    You did not say whether you were having any malware problems.
