Formatted PC now sound card not working

    I'm running XP SP3 i have installed Realtek HD Audio driver from there site and uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times onboard sound is enabled in the bios. I'm not really sure where to go from here. -.- The device is listed under Other devices with a bang as "PCI Device" any ideas???

    Hello,
    Your log shows you have a Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 motherboard. Go here to download your audio driver. Because I do not know where your location is, use the drop down box to select your OS and download type (driver) and then download according to your location. Your driver is the Realtek Function driver for Realtek Azalia audio chip Version R2.52

    Scratch that downloaded the other file on the list now its working thanks a million :)
