Formatting External HD and Usage Between Vista and XP Computers

    While there shouldn't be an issue doing it either way, I would format it on an XP system if it were me. This would use the older OS's formatting tool and should insure compatability, as most Operating Systems are backward compatible with the previous OS. Just my opinion! :)
