Forum Changes

also...I can no longer see "thanks" i've given. is this intentional, or have i been BLOCKED from thanking? (an odd choice)

for example, i thanked laura for the last post, but i only see the other 3 who did likewise. this was not the case in the past.

 

@Major A - ok, thanks. i'll study my the "display signature" and "display thanks" settings.

now is there a venue where I may ask - POLITELY - about that cryptic response in t'other thread? i honestly didn't understand what u meant.

 

i didn't say i "don't recall"!

there is a certain "news" story which is going around. i was asking whether it was legit since most of the sources are rather sketchy. to which u replied that i had copied it (um...pasted LINK, yeah) and closed the thread!

if u closed the thread for CONTENT, ok, i get that. but i didn't copy nuttin' and if u dump my post into google there isn't a flood of COINCIDENTALLY matching hits either. so i dunno what i supposedly copied even if i did!

I wasn't referring to Thread subscriptions as they should remain with the individual topic, but Forum subscriptions.

AHello to all:wave havnt been around much here. See the new forum changes are nice. I agree with the non active going. And the may things have change for mal are section.

 

I have a good suggestion it seems lately that some of the questions on the hardware and software forums are getting kinda hard to answer.Main reason people tend not to tell us the specs right off the bat.

This needs to be addressed in some way.Like say some kind info post after some body sings up where they must read the rules and how to post info.This way it should be less confusing.

I just read a few post on the software forums about security and other stuff and its like no operation system was included in the post.One only like had two lines worth of info.

Stuff like that not much to go on its like pulling teeth.

All right i understand that some are not computer savvy or don't know the specs off hand but at lest they should know the operating system.
