I've been visitng the forums for a while and recently began answering/asking questions, what I was wondering is...
Do you think most people post and never revisit and read the result?
or
Once they read the answers and fix the problem they move on and never respond?

 

most people get what they want by reading and rarely joining unless they can't find the answer. In which case, a small number of those actually join , are answered (hopefully with success) and are not seen again until another issue happens. An even SMALLER portion of those people return as somewhat regular visitors and an even SMALLER portion of them become regular posters.

 

Kodo's right, if you actually think about it; theres only about 35 regular posters with at least 200 or more posts.

 

And no, a lot of those that get answers never do respond.

 

It would be nice to know that the problem was solved in some cases.. it could help with the next one...

FG, I try and answer any post, to which I think I can contribute. Lots of my answers never get a further response. I hope my answer helps them, but you can only assume it does. I guess if my reply causes a further problem to occur, then you would certainly hear from them. Common courtesy, saying thankyou, is no longer common. Bazza
