Forum signature glitch?

Just a moment ago, while I was attempting to change the color of my signature from indigo to black, I received this error message:

1. Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 2 line(s).

Since nothing else has changed about my signature, in fact I made it shorter by removing the color tags from it, what is wrong? Why can't I save any changes to the signature? As long as I leave it alone it seems fine, but any change I try to make is met by that error message.

Hi

No glitch, signatures have been changed and vb code shouldnt work as its disabled in sig lines fo rnow, Plus they are limited at present to two lines of text, if you had a longer one before it will remain until its changed.

Would that be two lines in a post, or two lines in the editing box? I have changed absolutely nothing in my signature, and I am confused about why I can't edit it.

It's not a huge deal, just confusing.
