I installed: won't let me "log in"... and I can't enter any details either. Dang... Reckon google DDoS'd themselves?

 

Just clicked on that link. It now takes you to the google earth search program. Looks like Google bought out keyhole, or google established keyhole first to give it a try. Bazza

Make sure you check out the hardware specs required to run this program, especially the graphic card required. You may have XP but not the required hardware to get the best results, eg., does not support the graphic card in my laptop. Bazza

 

i got the same error Goldfish got with not being able to log in, yada yada yada the program is no longer installed on my computer.

 

I tried a few weeks ago, it didn’t work with opera, so I had to use ie yahoo that part of my dsl line, worked fine, could be your problem too……wobbles

 

I'm kind of thinking that their server might not be setup to handle much of a load!! But I could be talking out of my a$$ too!!!

I first downloaded it and tried to get it to go about 3:30 pm today, and I was having those so called "Log In" problems...then I just tried it a few minutes ago and it went slick as a whistle!!

Yeah it was just the flood of new downloads that was doing it: I can log in just fine now.

Its exactly the same as Keyhole, only has some extra data from Google Maps etc. thrown in too. Google bought Keyhole out a few months ago, and it got some people wondering whether Google was trying to get intel to take over the world

Last night I tried to download it from the link, that bigbazza had, and google gave me that, “there is no more room for ya”, and I tried it a few different ways….then went to the MajorGeeks web site, and MG had all the different links to down load from, pick one of the US site’s, and the program downloaded just fine………..they said they were full, but were letting in those from MajorGeeks……..wobbles

Yeah but, has anyone actually USED the program ? I'd like to know how good it is in the UK, USA and Canada at finding house addresses, monuments, etc. Bazza

 

I've used it and I'm thoroughly impressed...just zoom to a large city and turn on 3D buildings....flippin awesome!
