Four Day Search Comes to an End!

Chaslang! I'm new to Major Geeks so I'm very slow getting started towards being a contributor. However, aside from my inexperience of relating in tech forum, talk about all that crap that being loaded on our computers. I've been in my spare for the past four days trying to figure why my windows / system32 folder was missing. The scanners say I have trojans on my computer (still unable to get rid of all of them), but this problem was one that really tested my patience. I was talk from the information that I download from Major Geeks that your man to talk to in order to learn about how to get rid of trojans and worm viruses. Is it all right if I call on you in the near future?

Anyway to make a long story short I discover what needs to be done to solve the problem of "No Windows / System32 / Folder." Follow this advice:
Go to run, type system32 in the box.. after you open it look for command.exe (usually the string that exe is not included) so just look for command....after opening that type this... attrib -a -h -r -s c:\windows\sytem32 (and hit enter) or attrib -a -h -r -s c:/windows/sytem32. Thats it, look to your windows folder and you can access it again there.

I didn't come up with this solution, but I happy to pass it on. From what I read over the internet there are countless numbers of people that have received the same problem. I can now get into my regedit, which I couldn't before, I am not able to get rid of a worm called P2P -0 Alcan.a. If you have any ideas please email me. I will return to the forum tomorrow morning and see if you I get any responses.
