    Hi!
Before I continue, please understand that I'm not that great with computers so.. I don't comprehend big computer words, LOL.

Okay, so for a few months I've been having FPS lag problems in every single game I play (even MapleStory..). I didn't have this problem to begin with, I only got it a few months ago and I didn't know why so I just restarted the entire system but I still had the same problem. The games are set on low-med settings.

Here's the info on my comp:
Running on a Late 2008 MacBook Air; Windows XP via Boot Camp.

    Microsoft Windows XP
    Home Edition
    Version 2002
    Service Pack 3

    Computer:
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU
    L9300 @ 1.60GHz
    1.59GHz, 1.72 GB of RAM

    System Information:

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600)
    System Manufacturer: Apple Inc.
    System Model: MacBookAir2,1
    BIOS: Default System BIOS
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU L9300 @ 1.60GHz (2 CPUs)
    Memory: 1764MB Ram
Page file: 388MB used, 2988MB available
    DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

    Device:

    Name: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
    Manufacturer: NVIDIA
    Chip Type: GeForce 9400M
    DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC
    Approx. Total Memory: 512.0 MB
    Current Display Mode: 1280 x 800 (16 bit) (60Hz)
    Monitor: Default Monitor

When I play games, I use Game Booster to exit all unnecessary programs/applications. I also use Advanced SystemCare to clean out my PC (I don't really think it works), and end explorer.exe, svchost.exe (LOCAL SERVICE) processes from Task Manager.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!~

I've got to admit I'm not all that familiar with Mac hardware (I'm a PC gamer, aside from laptops I build my own stuff), but if you're gaming in XP I can at least try to help with the software part. :)

How up to date are you on drivers in your XP install? Is your DirectX fully up to date? If you're having FPS lag in every single game, most likely the problem is with either of the two, since they impact graphics rendering. Also, since it's a Mac, and a Macbook Air at that, are you monitoring your temperatures when booting to XP? There's a reason Apple is not legally allowed to call those things "laptops", and that reason is excessive heat.

If everything in drivers and DirectX is up to date, check your bootcamp drivers (I'm assuming you're running XP through bootcamp). If nothing works, post back with details on what version of OS X you're running, botcamp drivers, and any changes you made to your XP install right before the problems started.
