It is for real, but I'll guess it is "tongue in cheek" on the Harvard student presenters' side, because the magazine is typical of university student run magazine types (we had a similar type magazine at my alma matar).

The Harvard one is modelled on Punch, the British humour magazine.

So I reckon, the joke really is on Ms Hilton.LOL

 

I have to agree with her here: "Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine standing here," she told the students after accepting the honour yesterday.

I could not imagine her at a school either. roflmao

Like I noted earlier, that magazine (Harvard's "Lampoon"), run by the university's students, is full of satire and jokes...consequently, the "Lampoon" award is a spoof! Her acceptance is like a rerun of the "Simple Life"...ie she doesn't have a clue! What a joke.rolleyes
