Free Batch converter programs?

Hi I need some recommendations for batch file converters. There's so many options out there i can't tell which is supposed to be good and can't trust 'user reviews' as not coming from the company that made it.

I looking for two programs:

Batch video converter...to convert from .flv to .mp4

Batch .mp3 extractor from various video sources.

I got this 'GEtGO' program for down loading youtube videos and it works great in every regard except it automatically gets the .flv instead of the .mp4 which I think expands better. I know there are batch .mp3 directly from Youtube but I want a copy of the video first before getting the song.

Any suggestions?

 

I think DVDVideosoft many have the tools you need but im not 100% sure.

You can download individual programmes on their site or the whole package is 75Mb or something like that.

You should probably install a good complete codec pack... I like this one.
Since I'm not big into MP3 stuff, I can only suggest you check the Multimedia section here at MajorGeeks. Or check out this program for extracting audio. I have a free extractor that I VERY rarely use, it's at home (I'm at work right now) and I don't remember what it's called. :-o
