Free IP lookup download?

Hi everyone, I do not know if this is a right place to ask. I was wondering what the best IP lookup download that you all recommend? How do you find out a persons IP number just from them posting on a forum? Some people do this with ease, just think alot of you all and thought you would give me the best answers. Thanks in advance.

Also, the easy option (yes the one i use!) is to use Bravenet - full of banners and ads i know but its easy, and the option to show IPs is available. There are many other online forums but I can;t be bothered to change mine!!!

 

Proxies are a pain in the a$$. Espcecially if you're trying to IP ban someone. Some proxies will let you lookup connected IPs (transparent proxies), but most "anonymous" ones won't.
