Free online Texas Hold 'Em

Anyone know of a good place to go for a good free game?

I know MA posted this thread a while back, but it doesn't really resolve his initial question. So I guess I'd dig the topic back up because I'm in the same boat. There're so many out there, but I'd like some input on what to try.

I started to sign up for holdempoker.com but then they asked for things like my mailing address and what-not. I understand that for real-money play, they'd need that kind of thing, but I'm only out for a good fake-money game right now. So I don't see the need to give out my address or phone number.

Anyone have some input? MA, did you ever find a good place to play?

 

my roommates in college played alot on partypoker.com ... i downloaded it for awhile and played for free but i quickly realized that playing for free really doesn't simulate real Texas Hold 'Em because there is no consequence for bluffing... you can just withdrawl more money from the bank... you could however use partypoker to play Tournament style play (for free), where everyone has a limited number of money to bet...

 

The title of this thread makes me want to scream.

Why? COMMENT SPAM. Every day I get at least 20 new comments on my blog to "free texas online holdem texas free online poker casino no charge", most of which are caught by the moderation filter (thankfully), but I still have to delete each one individually Gargh..

I'd considered party poker, but passed it up for some reason. Maybe I'll look back into it.

i like the interface for Party Poker... of course i didn't try any other poker sites, but Party Poker was nice...

They people dont bet crazily like many do in PartyPoker (pot hitting 2.5 billion before the flop even came!!)

You can only refill chips when you hit 0 (gives u 1000), and you can only do it 3 times per hour. Pretty reasonable, I think.

Plus, you get to pick a picture as a "poker face" (no random person every time you go to a table like in PartyPoker)

Try it, you'll love it!

 

Poker Stars is BY FAR the way to go!!!!

In all the time I spent laid up in the last year....I've explored MANY poker sites and pokerstars is the best!!!

No Spam from them easy to use, and they also have ALOT of free tournaments, so it kind of gives you the sense of a real game!!!!
