Free Video Card Should I Install

    Currently have no video card :

    My PC is a self built:

    MSI motherboard model K9N6P6M2-V2 MS-7309
    AMD athlon II 260 320GHZ
    Operating system Windows 7 32 bit version

    Card is a Jaton video 338PCI 128 VIDEO-338PCI-128TV 128MB

    Would this be better than the motherboard graphics? Jaton-nvidia-geforce-6200-low-profile-video-338pci.jpg

    But for my own information/understanding, wouldn't it free up resources on the motherboard for other processing, if installed?

    It might free up a bit of RAM but the card is on the older, slower PCI bus while your onboard video is on the significantly faster PCI-E x16 bus. The trade-off isn't worth it due to the lowered graphics performance.
