Free voip calls really free?

I am looking for free calls, something like skype but allows to call abroad. u guys have any suggestions?

 

why, what seems to be the problem with skype? i know the voice quality is not good but it's the only one around.. isnt it? because if there's a better VOIP available which can call telephones in the US, that would be a dream come true!

 

IIRC, Skype was going to discontinue free calls to telephones. Not sure if it's taken effect yet, but it was the only one I knew of to offer this!

I have found cheaper VOIP software however, and the quality was impressive.

It's called SightSpeed, and is available for free. It works similar to Pay As You Go for cellphones. Buy a certain amount of time, and calls are deducted from your balance. You can also video conference to other machines for free. They only charge for PC-to-phone calls.

there is no way this can be real... its almost as if somebody has created several different accounts to hype a service. why this seems like some poor attempt at free advertisement! could it be true?! a series posts from unknown users that all seem to praise the same product and/or bash competing services!? I say, this reads like an infomercial!
