Free Zone Alarm

A while back there was a problem with the free version of ZA which, after signing off the web, would prevent reaccess after a short period of time. For those that had this problem and moved to other firewalls, I installed it again this AM and it appears this bug has been fixed.

 

ZA updates on a regular basis, I've seen this issue many times before. Not sure exactly what was causing it but apparently it has been fixed in the latest releases.

 

I tried installing ZA for a couple of weeks a while back with no luck. But now after a month of a different firewall, I again installed it and so far so good.

 

I've been using it for a while now with no problems. I've seen problems with ZA and DSL, not sure if that's related to ZA but after removing it DSL worked with no problem.

 

FYI, I have DSL.

 

The current version I have not seen any problems so hopefully all the bugs have been worked out for now. I'm on DSL now using AVG AntiVirus and ZoneAlarm Firewall and never had a problem.

 

I never had a problem until a bought a new machine (Dell XP Pro) back in August and installed the then free version of ZA. Anyway, I'm back in business now and it even seems like my system is a little faster now.
