Freecorder fails to uninstall completely - won't reinstall

    I tried uninstalling Freecorder 7 to upgrade to v8. Apparently, it did not completely uninstall and now won't reinstall. I have Win 7/64 and Firefox. I have had good results with Freecorder 7 (after neutering all the excess garbage it attempts to install) until this problem.

    Is Freecorder legitimate software, or is it malware?

    What can I safely use to record a streaming video and, is there a way to time-shift a private video from South Africa that is broadcast at 2 AM Central Time here? I'll be seriously crashed by that time.

    SOLVED - The uninstaller was leaving behind fragments of previous Freecorder versions. I installed Revo, ran it, and that solved it. ;)
