You need to check for any left-over services and scheduled tasks from Freemake.

Download Autoruns and extract the content of the zip file to a new folder, as it may come in handy in the future.
If you need help interpreting and removing the popup then do the following:
    • Right click on Autoruns.exe and select 'Run as Administrator'
    • As it begins to run, hit the Esc key to stop it.
    • Select from the menu Options > Filter Options, put a check mark in 'Verify code signatures' and uncheck the other boxes.
    • Press the F5 key to refresh and allow Autoruns to run to completion.
    • Go to File > Save and save Autoruns.arn to somewhere convenient like your Documents folder.
Zip the Autoruns.arn file and attach to your post.

    Where is startup in W10?

I want to go to the source of the file and not run anymore extraction programs as they messed up my pc last time.....I ran them all and nothing worked.....

Those instructions were not for W10.

I have removed the other program Freemake Video Converter totally uninstalled and all traces and so see what happens.

The 'startup control panel' plodr first referred to is the first link given in blue color highlighted. Very small, capable program.
You title says "downloader" but your conversations say "converter". I use "freemake video converter" regularly and have never had a pop-up. It downloads and converts to many formats for phone, tab or computer in one program. Maybe the "downloader" piece is a addon for your browser? Check in add-ons. The "autoruns" named by nullptr also very small and capable. If you really have deleted all you can find also try CCleaner's (plodr's second recommendation above) registry section to get rid of any left over pieces with freemake in the name

I have to disagree that those directions were not for 10. Screenshot from link I posted.
I have not known the howtogeek site to post false information. Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 are clearly indicated.

The "startup" program I was referring to was the normal Windows one that usually appeared in the program menu button but now O have W10 it not an easy find. I dont want to download a "startup" program if Windows already has one.

Also there is another Freemake Program called "Freemake Downloader" - same company but different program. I too use Freemake Converter and had no issues....its the "Downloader" program I installed that I had issues with but now since uninstalling my trusty "Converter" program its seems to have fixed it...maybe they were linked in some way?

Yes scrolled down and got the W10 instructions
