    Hey guys;

    I'm looking for some support here, you see I'm not looking for "How to" help just got a simple question for all y'all that I would like to get a decent answer from.. I'm currently surfing with Kerio's firewall, although I know after 15 or 30 days I'll be bugged by an annoying pop up, but what I was wondering is can anyone recommend a good solid FREEWARE firewall ?
    I use to use Comodo but I found that the newest version (3.) has conflicts with some programs that I use at times so i was just wondering:

    What firewall do you recommend and WHY ?

    I recently switched from ZoneAlarm to PCTools because ZA was bundling anti-spyware with their firewall and I don't want that. PCTools is very much like ZA, at least in the GUI part of it. All that being said, I had ZA on my system for 5 years and I was very satisfied with it.

    I'd like to know about the conflicts 4einc is having. Reason being that if it is something simple like the firewall not detecting the program, and prompting for network access, then you will encounter the same symptoms at some point with any firewall.

    If that's the case, then I would recommend AGAINST switching firewalls.

    Un/re/installing software firewalls haphazardly has caused me serious grief in the past.

    And, since you would have the same problem with with other firewalls, it makes more sense (IMO) to learn a single firewall well enough to deal with the problem, rather than starting over every time.

    What's more, Comodo is the most secure free firewall, according the the leak tests I've seen.
