I'm really getting sick of this. My comp. keeps freezing up. It started doing it when I installed a new wireless router and now it's doing it when I'm down loading a pic. from my computer to a forum site. It syarts downloading and thats it. I have to shut down manually and restart. I have windows xp and my comp. is a compaq thats 4 months old and I'm virus free. HELP!

try re-installing any software that came with the router... does it still freeze when you disconnect the router? Good luck! Does the mgr site have a suppot center for the router?

    Good luck!

Make sure you have the latest "Firmware" for your router!!

Go to the website of your router and you can download the lates firmware, and usually it is a self executable file that when you double click on it, it will automatically install it into the routers chipset!! Ofcourse...if you disable the router to troubleshoot your problem...make sure it is reenabled and plugged into the computer in order to install this firmware update!!
