Are cell phones and wireless internet networks on the same freqency?

 

No. Cellular is a frequency of its own.

 

Wireless house phones and microwave ovens are on the 2.4GHz range though - they can disrupt your network

 

Although most wireless routers now can be changed to not operate exactly on 2.4ghz, but rough ranges. I think I have 11 different channel settings on mine.

 

Don't know if this is what you are getting at, but...I have my microwave, cordless house phone, and wireless router, all permanently station within 5 feet of one or the other, and I've never had any problems with interference of one to another, and I frequently use all three at the same time!!!!

LMAO...funny you should mention that!! I had one a couple of weeks ago at the emergency room, and once they FOUND my brain, they said I was good to go!!!!

Well...They didn't have time to get a large enough machine, so they had to stick with plan A!!!!
