Fried Turkey 101

Darlene reminded me that it's turkey time in the States with her quiz, so here's a humurous yet informative video from one of my favourite TV cooks on how to make a tasty bird yet using a safe method. Hot oil is a darn nasty thing as one can see in some of the related videos. Some may think his method is overkill but i like it. Oh, it's a 2-part vid.

We had our family Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, and we deep fried ours and it was sooooo juicy and delicious :yum

Fried turkey is great.. better then oven cooked sometimes, we had a actual turkey frier machine for thanksgiving at my friends, that and smoked one in a smoker. I would say the friend turkey was more juciy, flavorful, better overall

and btw; theres nothing wrong with men cooking we are often the best cooks, look at the iron chefs. I have it set up at my house where i cook and the women do the dishes. Works out ALOT better like that, plus i enjoy cooking its like an art
